Dear All,
 
I Hope you all had a lovely summer break with your children. On behalf of the staff I would like to warmly welcome you back and extend a particular welcome all the children and their families who are new to our school.
We are very excited by the prospect of this New Year and the wonderful challenges it will bring.
 
We are now ‘back in the groove,’ and I am very pleased at how well all the children have settled. I am especially impressed with the Reception children who have confidently adapted to school routines, with smiley faces.
Our Nursery class began this week, with some starting ‘big school’ for the very first time…they too have been brilliant!
 
Pease visit each class for up-to-date news of the exciting things the children are doing.
  
Staff are once again beginning to run after school clubs and should be thanked for their tremendous generosity with their time. Green Park is quite exceptional in the range and frequency of clubs run and on your behalf I do thank all colleagues who are involved with pupils in out of hours clubs.
 

Dear Parents and Children,

I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday and look forward with renewed vigour to school starting this Thursday. 

May I, on behalf of all the staff, welcome you back to a new year.

May we also wish all our past pupils the very best of luck at their new school, university and, for the older ones, their working career.
